Word of Life

Word of Life Ministry began sometime in the year 1994 in the home of Elders Charles and Ethel Taylor who shared the love of Christ with the needy. The next years would witness the move and leadership of the Holy Spirit in a remarkable way. It is in following this lead that Elder Taylor joined the United Holy Church of America. This dedicated man of God, with a clear vision for souls, was fully embraced into this family. The church has brought a new paradigm as it pursues God’s cause. The church has adopted a simple, biblical strategy and structure that ensures equal emphasis will be given to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism.

One aspect of this church’s vision is the purchase of over two acres of land to accommodate an ultra-modern sanctuary, and later, a senior citizens’ retirement home. This vision has coincided with that of Bishop St. Clair Howell and architectural plans have been prepared for construction of the new edifice. Today, the church is housed in a tent on the said land. The vision includes children and youth outreach programmes, ministry to the needy, training, education and recreation. In this thriving developing district, growth of this church is expected. Word of Life presses on with a goal to see Jesus lifted up.
